Mybet Sportsbook Review

Mybet is a German betting company which boasts over 1.3 million customers worldwide.

Mybet offers sports betting and casino products to its customers. It ceased offering poker in June 2016. Its parent company is Intertops Holdings SE which was established in 1998. Mybet itself was established in 2001.

The company has bases in Berlin, Cologne and Hamburg and further afield in Malta.

A licence for the region of Schleswig-Holstein was acquired in 2012. It’s one of the best known brands in Germany and this is down largely to exposure. It’s sponsored numerous smaller German sides, often in the 2nd Bundesliga including Fortuna Dusseldorf, SpVgg Greuther Furth, Eintracht Braunschweig and VfR Neumunster.

At the time CEO of Eintracht Braunschweig, Soeren Oliver Vogt said of the deal: “The partnership with mybet Holding shows how attractive the Eintracht Braunschweig brand is and once again highlights the positive development of the club.”

In 2016 it also began sponsoring Ghanaian Premier League side Sekondi Hasaacas FC though financial details were not revealed. In the same year Mybet announced that it had sold horse racing firm pferdewetten.de for upwards of €9.9 million.

Mybet also promotes itself via social media and has channels on Facebook and Twitter.

Betting Markets

Mybet offers a reasonable selection of sports betting markets and whilst these aren’t as numerous as some rival bookies, it’s comprehensive enough to keep most punters happy and betting. The full list can be seen here:

American football, Aussie rules, Baseball, Basketball, Boxing, Cricket, Futsal, Golf, Handball, Ice hockey, Motor Racing, Rugby, Snooker, Soccer, Tennis and Volleyball.

It also offers some politics and novelty markets.

In-play betting

Live betting is available at Mybet though one letdown is that there is no live streaming.

The live betting product is well set up but a bit too numbers heavy, for casual players especially they could do with better presentation.

Usability of the site

The Mybet site is simple enough to use and its bright and colourful, image focused layout will be attractive to casual punters.

There’s no search bar but navigation is basic, and the help and chat icons are to the top right and hard to miss. They could make it easier to find current promotions.

Various language options are available including German, English, French, Swedish, Turkish and Spanish. This is easy to locate and change on the drop down bar too.

Customer service is on offer in the form of live chat, email and over the phone too. It’s not 24/7 but 10am till 10pm Monday through Sunday. Response times are decent but could be worked on. The official company address is 60 Tower Road, Sliema SLM 1606, Malta.

The usual banking options are available including Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, paysafecard, Moneybookers and notably Paypal in addition to other smaller e-wallets.

Conclusion

Up to 20,000 bets daily isn’t a bad haul and Mybet is a good place to come if you bet on football and tennis.

The site is easy to get to grips with, mostly fun to use and customer service is decent enough. Live streaming would be a nice addition, as would a blog and tips section.
