377bet Sportsbook Review
377Bet is a relatively new addition to the online bookmaking world. Appearing in 2012, 377Bet is in partnership with the renowned sportsbook provider OddsMatrix, a subsidiary to EveryMatrix Ltd.
377Bet is therefore licenced and regulated by the Malta Gaming Authority.
377Bet target a truly global audience and their site operates in Arabic, English, German, Romanian, Korean, Polish, Swedish, Portuguese, Vietnamese, Spanish, Norwegian, Chinese, Canadian French, Italian, Icelandic and Japanese. The site is not restricted in any country, giving billions of players access to this bookmaker.
377Bet clearly have a focus on the Middle Eastern market and advertise the availability of Arabic on their homepage. As well as having an online bookmaker, 377Bet currently run over 60 shops in the Middle East, which are mostly located in Lebanon.
Recently 377Bet closed their affiliate programme and lost a lot of respect and trust as a result. They were accused of not paying affiliates what they owed for player referrals, ultimately demonstrating unethical business practice.
They operate their sportsbook arm as well as having arms in Virtual Sports, their Live Casino and Casino powered by NetEnt. The sportsbook itself focuses predominantly on Football with hundreds of wagers available daily.
377Bet have a limited social media presence with only a handful of followers on Twitter and 2,500 on Facebook, with the last posts being published in November of 2015.
377Bet have favourable odds compared to most bookmakers in the European market, with very competitive odds available on their football market. Their sportsbook has a great range of markets available, including:
Football, Basketball, Tennis, Virtual Sports, American Football, Baseball, Ice Hockey, Specials, Handball, Rugby League, Golf, Snooker, Pool, Motor Racing, Darts, Cycling, Poker, Speedway, Volleyball, Boxing, Floorball, Futsal, Table Tennis, Winter Sports, Badminton, Rugby Union, Bandy, Aussie Rules, MMA, Cricket, E-sports and Chess.
With over 30 sports available and thousands of wagers to consider daily, 377Bet offer a very good package. Their E-Sports market is particularly interesting with wagers available on Counter Strike, DOTA, League of Legends, StarCraft and World of Tanks.
The live betting facility feels somewhat flat after the attention to detail on their sportsbook. There are no good visuals available, no live streaming and the statistics on offer are difficult to navigate and use.
Saying this there is a cashout option available for players and an excellent choice of wagers available.
Usability of the site
The first thing players tend to notice about 377Bet’s site is that it has a simple layout that is easy to navigate and access everything on offer. For new players this is great, and it also offers a good user experience for returning players, especially considering you are not bombarded with needless advertisement.
There is mobile support on the website but this is not automatically loaded when you open the site on your device, making it quite annoying to access.
Although at first it appears simple, 377Bet have a problem with displaying their contact information, making it incredibly difficult for players to talk to them. If you click the ‘Contact Us’ link then you are directed to ‘page not found.’ After googling their e-mail address and asking a question I am yet to hear a response. This is unacceptable for any bookmaker today.
There is no bonus available for new players and instead the bookmaker seek to offer promotions to their existing players in a points based system.
There is a good range of payment options available with Western Union, Skrill, Neteller and PaySafe all being available. Their pay-outs are very fast and without much problem.
On the surface 377Bet offer a very good service that is somewhat let down by its Live Betting section. However, with no Contact Information available I find it impossible to trust the bookmaker completely, and this is completely unacceptable in 2016.
