Bitcoin Rush Sportsbook Review
Bitcoin Rush is a relatively well established bitcoin betting platform having launched in 2013. It offers customers both a sportsbook and casino option.
The casino games option is particularly inviting as it doesn’t force you to download or open any external software; it’s all built into the platform. As with an increasing number of bitcoin and cryptocurrency betting platforms users do not need to register or even give an email, they can play completely anonymously and deposit and withdraw as such. Of course it does have this option for players that want to keep track of their betting history on the site.
It states that it was the “first Bitcoin Sportsbook to offer truly Provably Fair Bitcoin Casino Games”.
Bitcoin Rush is a part of umbrella company Monster Bytes Inc., which is a technology company based in Panama. This is completely transparent and is mentioned on the site’s homepage which is a good sign. Monster Bytes also runs PeerBet and Bit777.
Bitcoin Rush doesn’t have any ambassadors promoting its product nor does it sponsor any sporting competitions or leagues. When it comes to social media it has a presence on the big ones; Facebook and Twitter. The Twitter (@casinobitcoin) has over 1300 followers whilst its Facebook has only 160 Likes. Neither are particularly engaging, and tweets are irregular and infrequent.
Bitcoin Rush is probably more casino focused than it is sports betting but that said it retains a selection of sports markets for players.
These are extremely limited however and on the surface it seems to only offer Soccer, American football, boxing/ MMA, basketball, baseball and tennis. This is poor when compared with others and whilst it covers the major markets it lets itself down in terms of not offering motor sports, golf, esports and more. There are also no entertainment or politics options. Any serious sports bettor would look elsewhere.
Bitcoin Rush allows live betting on the sprinkling of sports markets it offers. Live betting is vital for any bookmaker in this day and age, and streaming should accompany this as it does with the top bookies out there.
Bitcoin Rush does not offer live streaming and as with its sportsbook options live betting is naturally also limited.
Usability of the site
As a part of Monster Bytes, which also runs PeerBet and Bit777, Bitcoin Rush is well established as a bitcoin casino first and foremost and as a bitcoin sportsbook.
The layout of the sportsbook is poor, overly complicated and messy. It needs to re-examine and overhaul this if it wishes for players to keep returning.
The casino option is similar. Whilst Bitcoin Rush has the casino games to keep players happy, it needs a new platform and a re-brand. The Bitcoin Rush specific feature of the site allows players to play games and compete on a leaderboard for prizes and rewards. Players can try it for free each day (up to three games) against the Faucetbot and the aim is that they’ll enjoy it and keep playing against other real users.
Bitcoin Rush also boasts and Affiliate Program and it has a blog to help drive traffic and engage users on the platform. The blog is basic (in a good way) and gets straight to the point in terms of previews and tips. Customer support is available only in email form (email@example.com) and the help and support section (with typical Q&As) is in place and helpful.
Bitcoin Rush is strong for promotions and rewards but it needs to do more to educate new users.
Having been in place since 2013, Bitcoin Rush is well placed to excel in the field of bitcoin betting operators. If it revamps its site it will better retain and entice customers, as ultimately the product beneath the surface is strong and the promotions are attractive. It could also do with adding more sports options to its sportsbook.
