Loot bet is a fairly new esports only bookmaker which is a part of the Cyprus based Livestream Ltd, the company which operates the bookie.
It is able to offer odds courtesy of a Curacao licence, and is run as a part of the large Bulgarian odds supplier UltraPlay, the company which offers markets on the greatest amount of esports titles (25 and counting at the time of publication), and also the firm which offers a cryptocurrency focused on esports wagering; eGold.
Loot bet launched in 2016, and at the time of launch, Mario Ovcharov, then CMO and now CEO of UltraPlay said: “Everyone worked very hard from the beginning until the end in order to achieve this goal and release the project which became Loot.bet. I am very excited that I have the advantage of witnessing the everyday progress which the website makes. One thing is certain – Loot.bet’s success will continue to grow rapidly in the future.”
Loot bet quickly moved to sponsor and partner with a team, choosing Dota 2 organisation Digital Chaos. The North American team has some history in the Dota scene; it won ESL Genting 2017 and placed second at The International in 2016. Of this partnership, Shannon ‘SUNSfan’ Scotten, Team Founder of Digital Chaos added: “Digital Chaos is excited to be working with our friends at Loot.Bet! We’re hoping our cooperation will develop into a long-lasting partnership.”
As of now the Digital Chaos partnership is no longer active however, but Loot bet does sponsor Sprout and tournament organisers Starladder. Sprout is based in Germany and counts noblechairs, Caseking and AMD alongside Loot bet as partners.
Loot bet exists on social media with an account on Twitter but could do an awful lot more in this regard.

Esports only bookmaker Loot bet offers odds on more titles than most, they are listed in full here: League of Legends, CS:GO, Dota 2, Overwatch, Hearthstone, StarCraft, World of Tanks, Vainglory, Smite, Heroes of the Storm, Call of Duty, Crossfire and Halo.

The site is accessible in English, Russian, Spanish, Turkish and German giving some idea of who the site is targeting primarily. In terms of payments and withdrawals, Loot bet allows Bitcoin which gives it a plus point in our books, and it accepts all the main forms too such as Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller and plenty more less common options. It doesn’t, which is typical amongst bookies, allow PayPal.
There are welcome bonuses (up to 100 Euros), and notably for esports fans (or rather CS:GO and Dota 2 fans) you can convert your skins on the site. These don’t go directly into the Loot bet account and the site explains in its Read More on this section, that ‘you instantly sell the skins to our partners, and they transfer the money to your Loot.bet account.’ It is not stated who these partners are. Conclusion
With its focus on skins (both offering them for trade and offering them as prizes) Loot bet is clearly esports focused. Partnerships such as the one with Starladder, a major tournament organiser, stand it in good stead to succeed too.
